This is a space for the 8th grade English I Honors and G&T8 Language Arts classes at the Charles Townes Center of the Sterling School to get together and "wiki."
We have "Wiki" time in class, but you can Wiki any time you want! I provide some prompts, but you are invited to create your own. VISITORS: If you would like to read the students' posts, please go to the class page you are looking for (English I or GT8 under the Navigation bar) and the click on the Discussion Tab at the top of the page.)
To allow for the best possible experience for all of our classmates, please adhere to the following code of conduct:
Respect your peers - treat others and their contributions with respect and encourage and foster creative and responsible entries
Do not use offensive language - offensive, crude, or questionable language is NOT acceptable
It's about YOU as a class, not YOU as an individual, so keep entries school-oriented. They don't always have to directly relate to academics, but should be appropriate for students, parents, administrators, etc.
NEVER post personal information. Your online name should be familiar enough that I know who you are for grading, but do not ever post any other personal information such as phone numbers or e-mails.
Each class has its own page, so feel free to update and edit the home page for your class (not this one).
If you want to discuss things with students in the other classes, you can discuss on this home page; otherwise, go to your class - GT8 or English IH for your week's Wiki prompt.
